  • Visit Lynn Meadows Discovery Center with the little ones and let them spend a few hours embracing their creative side and enjoying hands-out activities.

  • Visit one of the Coast’s local breweries, where you can enjoy a brewery tour and craft beer tasting for just $10 per person.

  • Stop by the Walter Anderson Museum of Art and discover the coastal-inspired works of Walter Anderson, a master American painter.  

    • Cost for a family of 4 - $30

  • Explore the grounds and exhibits of the Pascagoula River Audubon Center, featuring native animals and plants.

    • Cost for family of 4 - $26

    • Cost for a couple - $16

    • Have a little extra cash to spend? Take an eco-tour with McCoy’s River and Swamp tours, which departs from the Pascagoula River Audubon Center. Cost of admission to the Center is waived with purchase of boat tour ticket.

  • Visit the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum to learn more about the region’s heritage and culture through an array of fascinating exhibits, artifacts and photographs.

  • Spend the day (9 a.m. until 5 p.m.) on Ship Island, located 11 miles south of Gulfport. Explore Fort Massachusetts with a free guided tour, and then enjoy the sun and sand on the South side of the island. All visitors are welcome to bring their own beach gear, as well as coolers with food and drinks for the entire group.
