- Stop by the Walter Anderson Museum of Art and discover the coastal-inspired works of Walter Anderson, a master American painter. A family of 4 costs just $30 while a couple can enjoy the incredible talents of Walter Anderson and other artists for just $20.
- Explore the grounds and exhibits of the Pascagoula River Audubon Center, featuring native animals and plants. The cost for a family of 4 is $26, and a couple will spend less than $20. Have a little extra cash to spend? Take an eco-tour with McCoy’s River and Swamp tours, which departs from the Pascagoula River Audubon Center. Cost of admission to the Center is waived with purchase of boat tour ticket.
- Visit the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum to learn more about the region’s heritage and culture through an array of fascinating exhibits, artifacts and photographs. For $32, the family will be able to learn more about the rich history of Coastal Mississippi. Enjoy a ride on the White Winged Queens, the Biloxi Schooners, for $15 per child or $30 per adult.
- Spend the day (9 a.m. until 5 p.m.) on Ship Island, located 11 miles south of Gulfport and Biloxi. Explore Fort Massachusetts with a free guided tour, and then enjoy the sun and sand on the South side of the island. All visitors are welcome to bring their own beach gear, as well as coolers with food and drinks for the entire group.
