Gulf Coast Upcoming Festivals

The Mississippi Gulf Coast hosts festivals that celebrate food, music and heritage.

Enjoy music and food during the Alice Moseley Fun Festival (August 18) held on the historic grounds of the Train Depot in Bay St Louis.

Biloxi Seafood Festival (September 8-9) is a celebration of our seafood heritage. Enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts, kids activities and the best seafood on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Sunday features the Sun Herald Gumbo Championship, where for a separate fee attendees can taste professional and amateur gumbo from teams competing for the Peoples' Choice and Best of Show Awards. Held on the Biloxi Town Green.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Blues & Heritage Festival (September 8) features live blues music, arts & craft, and food vendors. This festival was made part of the Mississippi Blues Trail in 2017 and is held at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

Held in the picturesque art-filled city of Ocean Springs, the Mississippi Songwriters’ Festival (September 20-23) is a “feast for the ears”.  Professional songwriters generously share their work by playing at a variety of local venues or teaching their craft in various workshops. There is never a cover charge to enjoy the shows.

Enjoy oysters during the Annual Gulf Coast Oyster Cook-Off and Festival (September 28-29) held at Jones Park in Gulfport and sponsored by Island View Casino Resort.

The Diamondhead Arts & Crafts Fair (September 29-30) features over 150 art, crafts, and unique gifts vendors and food stands under the trees at the Diamondhead Country Club.
