From the moment you arrive at INFINITY, you will be caught up in the excitement of discovery! Located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, INFINITY Science Center is a non-profit science museum that also serves as the official visitor center for NASA Stennis Space Center. INFINITY encompasses a mix of exhibit space and hands-on experiential programming that seeks to be a place where guests can explore Earth and space through exhibits, tours through natural habitats and historic sites and citizen science programs. From the ocean’s depths to the farthest reaches of outer space, INFINITY unveils the sights, sounds, textures, and smells of great past discoveries, and offers a rare glimpse at future missions into uncharted space.

Indoors, guests can explore 35,000 square feet of exhibit space, including a Hurricane Prediction Lab, which teaches guests about the science of storms and how data is used in severe weather prediction. The Carnivorous Plants Conservatory showcases the region's indigenous meat-eating plants including the prevalent pitcher plant. Kids will love the Big Blue Blocks which teaches the fundamentals of engineering. Explore the Habitat Corridors to learn how the turtle crosses the road - and then try your hand at constructing your own bridge or road crossing.

Outdoors, take a stroll along INFINITY's Biome Boardwalk, which traverses 4 different biomes and natural habitats, and observe the native plants and wildlife along the way. Two observation decks provide a great place to rest and take in the sights and sounds of nature. During the spring and summer, INFINITY offers guided tram tours down the Possum Walk Trail, a 7-mile guided experiences that teaches guests about the ecology and history of the area. Marvel at the magnificence of the Apollo 19 Saturn V S-1C - an authentic artifact from the Apollo program that sent man to the moon.

When it's time to grab a bite, enjoy lunch in the INFINITY CaFe and then be sure to grab a souvenir at the Odyssey gift shop.

With exhibits continually updated, return trips to INFINITY are encouraged. Memberships are available. INFINITY is located next door to the Mississippi Welcome Center in Hancock County right off Interstate 10, Mississippi Exit 2 South (Hwy 607).

Open Monday-Saturday 9am to 4pm - Admission charged.

Celebrate nature's beauty and learn about all things birds, birding, and bird watching with a month-long emphasis focusing on coastal indigenous and migratory songbirds using citizen science. For a whole month, INFINITY will concentrate on birds -- every kind. Embark on a guided birdwatching tour with our Master Naturalist. Explore our boardwalks in our natural resources area on a self-guided scavenger hunt and see what species you can find. Inside, enjoy guest speakers and live presentations on rescue and rehabilitation with a few special feathered guests. We'll be making birdfeeders, identifying bird tracks and will even feature various nesting, birdhouse displays and more.

3-2-1 BLAST OFF! Use science, engineering, and Newton's laws to build and launch model rockets.

INFINITY Science Center's 2nd Annual Gala celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 13 and supports the leading STEM & Space non-profit museum in the Mississippi & Louisiana area.

Once a year, INFINITY seeks to raise funds to support and expands their education programs such as Field Trips, Science & Space Exploration Classes, teacher workshops, Science Saturdays, Homeschool Mondays, and much more. At INFINITY Science Center, we've served teachers, students, and families in Mississippi, Louisiana and beyond since 2012. As we work each day to fulfill our mission of reaching the next generation of scientists, explorers and the insatiably curious. Since day one, INFINITY has set its sights on inspiring, amazing and engaging every guest that comes through our door. We are a destination for a-ha moments and seek to make science fun, fascinating and accessible to everyone.

During this event, we’ll celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 13 with speaker, Fred Haise. You’ll learn about life on the space exploration home front. Hosted by Jonathan Brannon. This event will include a silent auction, cocktails, fun activities, dinner, a presentation, and live music. Cocktail Attire.

Join us for Homeschool Monday: Math as we explore concepts and engage in hands on activities!

Activities are geared for homeschoolers ages 12 and under, but of course everyone is welcome!

Special Lab: Rubik’s Cube Math (Ages 12-18 only)

Did you know that no matter how a Rubik’s cube is arranged, it can be solved in 20 moves or fewer? This fact will pique your student’s interest and curiosity! In this interactive lab we will use the Rubik’s cube to discuss math concepts (Pythagorean theorem, geometry concepts, factorials, and mosaics) and learn to solve the Rubik’s cube! This is a fun and engaging way for students to learn math concepts while working with and fidgeting with a Rubik’s cube. Students will take home a Rubik’s cube and packet to continue their learning. Class cost is $3/student and is limited to 30 participants. This class will be held from 930-1030.

Present your registration receipt to the admissions counter for $9 Homeschool Monday admission. All payments are due upon arrival. By attending this event you consent to INFINITY Science Center's photography policy.

There will be approximately one hour of structured themed activity and one hour of free play in the Little Learner's Lab as a part of the Mommy and Me programming from 10:00 to Noon. Club membership includes all three sessions. Individual sessions may not be purchased.
