For our visitors who are here from Louisiana due to the impacts from Hurricane Ida, please know that Coastal Mississippi is here to help you in any way we can. Our community is no stranger to natural disasters, and we know how it feels to be displaced from your hometown. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you are here, and hope for the speediest recovery for our neighbors.

Evacuee Offers
  • The Meeting Place is offering member rates (50% off the drop-in rate) for conference room use and coworking to anyone displaced by Ida
  • Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is offering Museums For All pricing ($3 per person) to our Louisiana neighbors who may be displaced and staying in Mississippi with friends, family or in a hotel the entire month of September. Bring the kids and PLAY!! Must present a valid Louisiana Drivers License.
  • Feed My Sheep - Gulfport offers hot lunches M-F from 11:30 a.m. 1 p.m. All meal service is to-go.
  • Lazy Magnolia Brewery is offering Louisiana residents a free beer with their lunch. They also have water, soda, Wi-Fi, AC and phone chargers.
  • Lil Market Deli & Bagelry is offering a free bagel and cream cheese for all hurricane IDA transplants! Now until…We also have one personal charcuterie box ready for pickup. It weighs almost 1lb so it can easily feed 2! $18.99!
  • Mississippi Aquarium will offer a 25 percent discount for Louisiana residents until Sept. 30.
    The special is for walk-up ticket purchases only. Participants must have an ID with a Louisiana address. The discount is for general admission tickets only and does not apply for SeaTrek or other experiences or tours. Mississippi Aquarium is open daily from 10 am until 5 pm. The last admittance into the park is 4:15 pm.

  • Moxie Shop is taking orders for t-shirts with proceeds going to the Cajun Navy
  • Fleurty Girl is selling NOLA > Hurricanes shirt – all proceeds go to their “Fleurty for 30” fund to pay their New Orleans employees for the next 30 days.
  • The Rack House Steak & Spirits - On Tuesdays we feature our $21 steak special { a 12oz High Choice Strip } served with a choice of side salad or side item. PLUS $5 select martinis ♥️We will be donating 10% of our nightly sales to The United Way of Southeast Louisiana and The United Way of South Louisiana to help those who have been impacted by the devastating Hurricane Ida. We hope you will join us

  • Volunteers in the Gulf Hills neighborhood, along with Gulf Hills Golf Club and Capone’s Restaurant in Ocean Springs are feeding 200 displaced guests at Gulf Hills Hotel. The group of volunteers plans to continue providing meals as long they as can. If you’d like to help you can contact Gulf Hills Hotel by calling 228-875-4211.
  • Mugshots Grill & Bar is in Livingston Parish, LA cooking burgers for first responders, law enforcement and the National Guard.
  • The region’s Comeback Coolers is raising funds and collecting donations to deliver this Saturday, September 4. Donation drop-off locations across the coast.
