On the Pearl River Boat Tour, we will journey to the edge of Lake Borgne where the mouth of the river flows into the Mississippi Sound. It borders the state of Louisiana and Mississippi, bringing some of the most beautiful migratory birds to be seen.

The East Pearl River is home to the Alligator Habitat. While not a guarantee, our chances are high. The boat ride is rich in wildlife, marshes, bayous, and history, if you want to journey into the swamps you will need to walk with us.

Birds of the area include, Blue heron, Pelicans, Ospreys, Hawks, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Warblers, Buntings, White-eyed Vireo, Yellow-breasted Chat, Indigo Bunting and more rarely, Painted Bunting. Swallow-tailed Kite, Mississippi Kite, Broad-winged Hawk, Eastern Wood-pewee, Wood Thrush, Swainson's Warbler (cane), Yellow-throated Warbler (cypress), Northern Parula, and Prothonotary and Hooded Warblers, Egrets, and much more.
