The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum has close to 200 years of train history including a model train that honors POW-MIAs from Vietnam & WWII. There are gauges Z through G in addition to LG scale riding trains. We have now expanded into our 3rd building growing our LEGO display to almost 2 million pieces to include trains and your favorite LEGO movie characters.

Our outdoor displays include a Jurassic Park layout, outdoor alligators and turtles that are on the path of our Swamp Train.

Regular hours: Tuesday-Saturday 12-5pm.  Admission is free, but we are powered by donations.

Join The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum for it's one-of-a-kind, annual signature Wild West Fundraiser. This fun-filled night will include dancing, music, and food to support continued development and sustainability of the Railroad Museum so it can remain open FREE to the public. A dunking booth, mechanical bull, pie throwing and jail will feature local celebrities and politicians for your fun and entertainment such as Mayor Shea Dobson, CEO of the Port Jonathan Daniels, along with 18 more local celebrities.

The Railroad Museum has experienced continued growth this past year with expansion to a third building and display growth. There has been expansion on the history of Railroads and Depots in the state of Mississippi, a new gift shop, along with the LEGO® display expansion that now includes almost 2 million pieces.

Event location is The Warehouse located at 3420 Giles Road in Gulfport. This location has been home to "Terror on the Coast", the largest Haunted House on the Gulf Coast, for 3 years now. Filled with amazing movie sets and props, it is the perfect setting for this event and will be like walking into the Wild West. Tickets are $50 per person and benefit the Railroad Museum. Join The Southern Steampunk Expo for it's one-of-a-kind, annual signature event at The Warehouse. This location has been home to "Terror on the Coast" and is filled with amazing movie sets and props from the big screen.

This fun-filled Expo will offer Tea Dueling, Costume Contest, Belly Dancing exhibitions, games from Gulf Coast Gaming Events, area Airships, area steampunks sharing tips on the steampunk genra, multiple vendors, live birds & so much more. There will be vendor workshops and panels to offer instruction on making items such as leather clothing accessories.

The Expo will kick-off with a Poker Run in Downtown Gulfport Friday night, and after the Expo on Saturday there will be live entertainment from Prof. Pinkerton and the SteamCog Orchestra. Ticket information can be found online at www.MCMRCM.org or on Facebook under the Southern Steampunk Expo.

All proceeds will go to benefit the MS Coast Model Railroad Museum which is a nonprofit that is open FREE to the public. They are Powered by Donations and Fundraising efforts, so your support is greatly appreciated.

Look for Railroad Safety Week the first week of April, along with Operation Lifesaver activities and a recycling, magnetic robot build that will be on display at the Expo. All entrants will receive one FREE admission to the Expo.

As well, there will be an educational scavenger hunt at the Expo, Mystery on the Gulf Coast Express… a mystery depicting the Orient Express with a Coastal twist.
