Youth “Mississippi Saxophone” Weekly Workshop, A Blues Harmonica Class

Pass Christian Library is excited to offer the Youth “Mississippi Saxophone” Weekly Workshop taught by musician “Bayou” Shannon Williford. The Mississippi saxophone is also known as the harmonica. The workshop meets once a week on Wednesdays June 21, June 28, and July 5, 2023, starting at 2 p.m. and is for 5-8th graders. The students will learn about the Delta Blues and how to play the harmonica. The workshop will conclude with a student concert. Each student is given a harmonica and a songbook. The workshop is free, but space is limited, so please reserve your spot by calling the library at 228-452-4596.
