Activities include a classic car “cruise”, art displays, live music, children’s activities and the best local cuisine.

Saturday, October 2, starting with the Cardboard Cruiser Parade at 4pm as cute mini-cruisers show off their skills at building cardboard cruisers. Gulfport High School and the First United Methodist Church will assist the mini-cruisers build their one-of-a-kind creations for the parade.
 
Saturday at 7pm, a free concert hits the downtown big stage at 14th Street and 28th Avenue with Amanda Shaw & The Cute Guys, Rockin’ Doopsie, Jr., and the Zydeco Twisters. Concert-goers should bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the music in seated comfort.
 
Sunday, October 3, at 9am, a brand-new event, hosted by the First United Methodist Church, Cruising for Christ, offers a non-denominational worship service at Barksdale Pavilion in Jones Park. Additionally, classic car owners will vie for the perfect parking spot to show off their prized cars as local musicians perform around downtown Gulfport, many local restaurants and food trucks offer a variety of coastal cuisine and arts and crafts vendors show off a wealth of creative talent.
 
Admission to all Gulfport Main Street Association events on Saturday and Sunday is free.
