Teen Art For Youth’s Sake Summer Art Classes

For more than 25 years, the Pass Christian Public Library, in conjunction with the Pass Christian Art Association and local community artists, has sponsored “Art for Youth’s Sake” summer teen art classes. The Pass Christian Library is pleased to offer these summer classes: Hope and Peace Hand Casting in Plaster, Intro into Watercolors, Zentangle, Landscaping with Charcoal, and Gyotaku-Fish Prints. At the end of the program, an art reception and donut brunch will be offered to view the student’s art. The classes are for youth ages 12-18. The youth pick and choose which classes to attend. Classes will be held on Thursdays at 2 p.m. beginning June 8, 2023. Classes are free, but enrollment is limited so please call the library at 228-452-4596 to register for the classes you are interested in.
