Summer Camp Week: Children’s Art and Music Camp

This Summer Session is sure to keep your kid’s entertained and educated! The first portion of the camp will involve learning basic Clay Handbuilding. Monday-Wednesday, the children will be introduced to clay and will complete one project.  The second part of the week will be spent learning about paint and composition and will also include music breaks! The children will go outside for a short music break to encourage further self expression and unity. We will sing songs along with Kelsey Wishik’s guitar playing, play percussive instruments, taking turns to express ourselves and then singing all together.

By the end of the week, participants will be able to take home some original paintings, musical skills, and journaling techniques!

**Materials will be provided except for a journal. Children are encouraged to bring their own notebook and writing utensil.

**Note: Because the ceramic project will have to be glazed and fired, the finished pieces will need to be picked up the following week of summer camp.
