SIT, STAY, READ! Children’s Reading Program

Pass Christian Library is happy to announce the Fall Season of the popular Sit, Stay, READ! Children’s Reading sponsored by the Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi.

The Pet Teams provides a fun way for children to improve their communication and reading skills while visiting with a four-legged friend. The dog-friendly atmosphere provides excellent motivation for the children to practice their reading.

Reading sessions usually last for 30 minutes. Children are rewarded with bookmarks, stickers, or pencils for participating. The program is free. Children must not be afraid of or allergic to animals. There is no need to pre-register. Please mark your calendars for all the fall sessions on September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16, 2023.
