Sandal Making With Sabrina Stallworth

In this class, participants will craft their own unique pair of sandals using traditional techniques and high-quality materials. Led by artisan Sabrina Stallworth, this workshop will cover everything from selecting the perfect leather to cutting, gluing, and smoothing each piece together. You will also have the opportunity to personalize your sandals with jewels, paint, and dye – making them truly one-of-a-kind!
Throughout the class, you will be provided with all the necessary tools and materials, as well as personalized guidance and feedback from the instructor. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or a beginner, this workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new skill and create something beautiful in the process.

About the Artist:
Sabrina Stallworth was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, at an early age with her family. After graduating from Lakeshore High School in Atlanta, Sabrina attended Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia, in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and later moved to Hawaii.
Sabrina is a self-taught artisan and entrepreneur who is inspired by the environments and cities she has called home. Her work includes handbags, sandals, belts, jewelry, and pillows. Each one of her designs is masterfully handmade and embellished with materials such as exotic hides, skins, feathers, exotic woods, beads, and semi-precious stones from all over the world.
Sabrina’s work has been exhibited in the National Arts Program in Fulton County, Georgia, the Peter Anderson Arts Festival, Arts Alive in Bay St. Louis, MS, Success Women’s Conference, and displayed at New Orleans Fashion Week. She is an active and valued Board of Trustee Member for Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, a member of Ocean Springs Arts association, and Bay St. Louis Arts Association. Her one-of-a-kind creations are available for purchase at The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art gift shop.
