In his nearly 30-year career, Aaron Tippin has had major career accomplishments, beginning with his first single “You’ve Got to Stand for Something,” hitting the Billboard Country Singles chart that eventually peaked at No. 6. With the success of his first single, Tippin went on to release hit after hit, including “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio,” “My Blue Angel” and “Workin’ Man PhD.” In 1995, his smash hit “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You,” showcased a more dramatic side to his vocal approach.
Country artist from De Queen, Ark., Collin Raye released multiple hits in the 1990s, continuing to crank out soulful, heartfelt material with his rich signature vocals.
