Portraits in Oils With Bruce Seabolt

In this 6-week class, Bruce Seabolt will teach students how to use oil paint, choose the correct brushes and canvas, and care for materials. Color theory and composition will be covered through demonstrations and practice. Bruce will work with all students on their level and make learning how to paint fun. "A very important thing I like for my students to know, is to relax and have fun. You will learn how to paint in whichever medium you choose.' Portraits in Oil will start out with drawing skills learned. We will be using a few different kinds of "tools" to paint with. How to paint with the palette knife will be covered too!

Portraits in Oils will be held for 6 weeks on Tuesdays, beginning February 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. Limited spots available.
