About
This family-friendly event series is geared for families who call Soria City, Broadmoor Place, Broad Acres, Magnolia Grove and Mississippi City neighborhoods their home to learn through fun! Each week has a different theme with stations and activities geared for youth from pre-K to 5th grade. September featured the Built Environment, October interacted with the Natural Environment, November will explore different Outdoor Careers, and December will focus on Mobility Access (along with some opportunities to experience mobility options on a field trip!).
Saturday, November 18 - Outdoor Careers
Saturday, December 16 - Mobility Access
Meet at the Katie Booth Community Center at the edge of the Clower-Thornton Nature Area, with check-in starting at 10:15am, and activities starting at 10:30am. Be sure to be there by the start to enter the weekly raffle and not miss out on the excursions as the event does not always stay in the same location the entire time. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Event Lead Ronnie Matthew Harris at 601-436-9151. - Map
