How to Be a Poet 3 Day Workshop

Poets are unique folks who live with a passion for words. What do they read? How do they live and think? What do poets write? Join us for a fun, interactive workshop to explore these intriguing questions! Participants will get the full “Poet Experience” in three interactive classes:

Instructor: Kristina Mullenix

 

  • Day 1: Workshop Discussion: We’ll learn basic poetry points on reading, writing, thinking, and living like a poet.
  • Day/Date: Tuesday,  May 2nd
  • Time: 11am-noon

 

  • Day 2: Writing Lab: An on-hands, interactive exploration with several poetry writing exercises.
  • Day/Date:  Thursday, May 4th
  • Time: 10:30am-noon

 


  • Day3: Poetry Showcase: Let’s get together & share your poem, or one you love! Bring your friends and family. Light refreshments.
  • Thursday, May 4th
  • Time: 6:00 p.m.
