The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are scheduled to make several appearances in the area in February. From the Prohibition era to Super Bowl commercials, there is perhaps nothing more iconic in Budweiser’s storied history than its team of Clydesdale horses. More than just a mascot, the Clydesdales have been an integral part of Anheuser-Busch for more than 80 years. Mitchell Distributing will be bringing the eight-horse hitch, along with the famous red beer wagon, to the Mississippi Gulf Coast during their tour.
The Budweiser Clydesdales begin parading at 3pm on Front Beach at the Ocean Springs Yacht Club, traveling onto Porter Avenue, then Washington Avenue and finally to Government Street near the Mary C O'Keefe. Staging will begin at 2pm.
Then, get your tickets to the Mary C. Budweiser beer pairing dinner at 6pm. For official details on the event, contact the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau or City of Ocean Springs. Tickets available at themaryc.org
