About

Come to our beautiful studio and enjoy the excitement of firing work in a Raku kiln! Raku is an exhilarating and unique process where pots are taken out of the kiln while red hot and put in a combustible material to make colorful and iridescent effects. Students must wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you aren’t afraid to get dirty! The cost of class includes two pots (your choice of bisqued vases and bowls) that you get to glaze and fire in our Raku kiln. *Students may not bring outside pieces to fire.*

Place: Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, Ceramics Studio
Cost: $75 per person
Level: Ages 18 and up
Class Limit: 6 students per session

Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the class begins. After that period the fee is non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to a friend.
