The Arts, Hancock County presents the 18th Annual Arts Alive Festival bringing together visitors and residents alike for a weekend celebration of music, food, and the arts held in historic Old Town Bay St. Louis. This rapidly growing festival highlights the burgeoning scene of artists, makers, and performers from across the region. This FREE event runs all weekend featuring 50 artists from across the region. With a strong focus on live experience, Arts Alive features demonstrations and hands-on activities for aspiring artists of all ages.
The festival is centered in heart of Old Town Bay St. Louis, historically recognized as an arts community. This walkable, seaside venue offers galleries, shops, and restaurants with a free-to-the-public parking garage (122 ½ Court Street). It's the perfect location for Arts Alive!
In 2019, Arts Alive attracted more than 5000 visitors from across the Southeast and was a huge success for local merchants and exhibiting artists. The festival received extensive national media attention citing Arts Alive and Bay St. Louis as The Best Hidden Gem Destination in MS.
