Labor Day weekend is coming in hot, and it’s time to plan your getaway to Coastal Mississippi! When you come to The Secret Coast, there’s plenty to do to keep you and your family entertained. So here is our Secret Coast Labor Day Weekend Itinerary!

There’s nothing like a beachside dinner to kick off the weekend right! With endless options to satisfy all your cravings, fresh gulf seafood is always on The Secret Coast menu. Consider Bacchus on the Beach, Felix’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar, or Shaggy’s in Biloxi, Gulfport and Pass Christian, to kick off your GOAT Vacation!

After dinner, head over to the Historical Ghost and Cemetery Pub Walk in Bay St. Louis, or to Biloxi for one of our exhilarating arcades and fun centers! If you’re staying at Margaritaville Resort, you can “Escape” just downstairs in Margaritaville’s family entertainment center. Part arcade and part amusement park, Escape is the perfect place to play or to watch the game. Just imagine catching every single play while your kids play, too. Or you can drive over to Big Play Family Entertainment Center for go-karting, mini golf, laser tag, bowling, carnival rides, and more! And don’t miss out on Big Play’s newest attractions—Big Play Raceway and the Omni Virtual Reality Arena.

After a good night’s sleep at one of our hotels and resorts, start your Saturday with a trip to the Ocean Springs Artwalk in Downtown O.S. followed by lunch under the oaks at one of the many eateries. Need a nap or want to catch those last summer rays of sunshine, head to the beach! Coastal Mississippi offers 26 miles of white-sand beaches where you can kick back and relax. While you’re there, check out some of our local rental companies – we’ve got vendors galore offering beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, jet skis, and more!

Once you’ve gotten your fair share of salt water and warm sunshine, grab some dinner and take in a live show at Ground Zero Blues Club, Biloxi’s hot-spot – owned by Mississippi’s own Morgan Freeman. It will surely not disappoint! After the show, savor a night-cap or try your luck at one of The Secret Coasts’ fabulous casinos.

As for dinner—the world is your oyster, or shrimp, or fish, or steak. With plenty of options along The Secret Coast, from Pan Asian to BBQ to fine dining you’ll find delicious coastal cuisine and an experience you shan’t forget!

Don’t pack those bags just yet, we’ve got more to do, so stay another day and plan a trip to Ship Island! Hop on the Ship Island ferry and explore Fort Massachusetts, try your hand at surf fishing, or rent a beach chair and enjoy the waves.
