Gaming

With upward of 10,000 slot machines and 1,000 table games scattered across the Coast, Coastal Mississippi is the place to be for gambling and gaming in the South. With locations in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi and D’Iberville, you’re free to spend your time exploring different cities and their different gaming options. Every casino on the Coast features its own unique draw. The Scarlet Pearl is the Coast’s newest casino, attracting visitors for its modern design and the best gaming chairs on the Coast. Boomtown Casino offers classic gaming options in vintage environs; it’s not called “The Original Locals Casino” for nothing. Practicality triumphs at the Golden Nugget, where the casino is located directly adjacent to the parking lot, so nothing can come between you and your gaming. And with one of the most action-packed poker rooms on the Coast, the Hollywood Casino makes you feel like the star that you are.

Sports Betting

For many visitors, Coastal Mississippi’s allure lies within its extensive and unique sports book offerings. As of this month, all 12 casinos on the Coast feature sports book where guests can wager on extensive sports betting menus that include professional and collegiate sports. With hundreds of TVs scattered across the Coast and bar-restaurants attached to many of the sports book locations, it’s never been easier to watch the game, enjoy a meal and place your bet too. Just this month, the Beau Rivage unveiled its latest sports book option, BetMGM Book Bar & Grill. Labeled as the Southeast’s premier destination for high-energy sports entertainment and dining, TAP features dozens of HDTVs, a giant video wall, a center focal bar with comfortable flex back seating, 35 video poker machines and a large five-window sports betting counter. Harrah’s has combined sports betting and entertainment experiences with the 406 Club, a dynamic and non-traditional new venue that will offer exclusive fan caves, interactive LCD screens, food and beverage specials, live music and bar games—in addition to the casino’s already established partnership with the NFL, ESPN and The Bleacher Report.

Culinary

Gaming all day definitely works up an appetite; luckily, Coastal Mississippi’s casinos offer everything from fast-casual diners to award-winning fine dining. To celebrate the day’s winnings, treat yourself to a meal at one of the IP’s two Four Diamond restaurants – Thirty-Two and Tien – or Mignon’s in the Palace, the only restaurant on the Coast to receive Wine Spectators Award of Excellence for the past 13 consecutive years. For a more contemporary upscale dining experience, try Harrah’s Magnolia House by Kelly English or Blu, a tapas restaurant in Treasure Bay that is unlike anything on the Coast. If you’re looking to get a little more casual, the USA Today favorite Beach Blvd. Steamer at the Island View is a tasty option. Of course, each casino also offers a buffet – each one just as unique as the casino that accompanies it. For a more sumptuous spot, The Buffet at the Beau Rivage is known for its quality ingredients and wide variety of options. A bit more low-key, the Silver Slipper’s famed Jubilee Buffet epitomizes classic Coastal Mississippi fare and includes the most extensive salad bar anywhere on the Coast. For dessert, don’t forget to check out the Hard Rock’s brand new Sugar Factory for the perfect sweet treat (and the perfect picture!), recently voted America’s most Instagrammed restaurant.

Spas/Retail

After a few days of sports betting, gambling and gaming, there’s nothing better than an afternoon at the spa and an evening of retail therapy. With half of the Coast’s casinos bearing spas and many of Coastal Mississippi’s casinos including retail options, The Secret Coast is the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Enjoy a Signature Aqua Treatment at the IP’s Senses Spa & Salon or a Seoul Scrub Body Treatment at the Spa & Salon at the Golden Nugget. You can even spend a day at the Rock Spa at the Hard Rock, and experience comfort, rejuvenation and tranquility at their finest. Finish off your day with a walk through The Shopping Promenade at the Beau Rivage, the best kept shopping secret in the South.

Golf

When you’re on vacation, it’s nice to get outside – skip the casino for a day, and arrange a tee time with friends at one of the casino’s award-winning golf courses. While only three Coastal Mississippi casinos offer golf courses, these three courses are all among the best in the state. The Bridges Golf Club at the Hollywood Casino is Mississippi’s only Arnold Palmer Signature gold course. Ranked among the Top 40 casino courses in the country and Top 10 courses in the state by Golf Digest and GolfWeek magazines, the 18-hole masterpiece sits on the banks of Mississippi’s beautiful Bay St. Louis. Windance Country Club, owned by Island View Casino Resort, features state-of-the-art irrigation systems, a beautiful lake, driving range, practice facility, Pro Shop, restaurant, decorative stonework and more. It’s no wonder it was voted one of America’s “Best Courses You Can Play” by GolfWeek magazine five years in a row. Designed by legendary course architect, Tom Fazio, exclusively for guests of the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Fallen Oak raises the bar for luxury resort golf in this region. The 18 hole, par-72 championship layout unfolds in a majestic, almost cinematic, invitation to all who love the game, and has earned accolades by Conde Nast Traveler and Golfweek Magazine.

Resorts

…or it does when you say it does. And when you’re ready to turn in for the night, just head upstairs. With 11 of the 12 casinos doubling as resorts, your hardest decision is choosing which one to make your home base. The Palace is the Coast’s only smoke-free resort, so for non-smoking families, this may be the best bet. The Hard Rock is perfect for nostalgic music-lovers, with a large collection of memorabilia found around the resort. The Scarlet Pearl’s friendly atmosphere and family-ready attractions, like a miniature golf course with an erupting volcano, make it the perfect resort for your adventure-loving family. For a more luxurious, beachside hotel experience, Harrah's is located close to all of Biloxi’s best shopping, cultural and entertainment centers. Just remember: wherever you choose to lay your head on the Mississippi Coast, you can’t go wrong.
