My two favorite pizza spots on the Mississippi Gulf Coast are both found at shrimp sign 38. Although both bring different flavors and a unique atmosphere, you can’t go wrong with either option!
Bootleggers is my family’s go-to pizza spot. If you like thin crust, crispy pizza, this will be your go-to spot too! Although they proudly serve Chicago-style pizza, you can find multiple options with a Mississippi Gulf Coast twist, including the seafood pizza served with shrimp, crabmeat and special seafood sauce. One of the best things
My first experience at Greenhouse on Porter included a concert on the lawn, tasting “mystery beers” (craft brews that lost their labels along the way), and meeting new people from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and beyond.
Are you heading to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Crawfish Music Festival? A five-day festival with more than a dozen acts can be a bit overwhelming. Don’t worry, we’ve listed everything you need to know beforehand to make sure you have an awesome time enjoying music, crawfish, adult beverages and so much more!
I was recently asked where “home is.” My answer is not complicated, but neither is it simple. My father was in the Petrochemical industry all of my youth, so we traveled, a lot. New Jersey, St. Louis, Baton Rouge and Switzerland, to name some of our “homes.” Then I chose to live in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Louisiana again for college and career. The best part of these travels is that I learned a sense of adventure. And I learned a sense of local cuisine. We all have our indigenous and inherited local recipes and favorites. In my first few visits to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I realized that Smoked Tuna Dip is one of the local favorites!
