BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - If your March Madness basketball bracket is a bust, soothe your soul by supporting your favorite poboy shop.

Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast is hosting an "Eat Madness Poboy Competition." It is a race between restaurants to the last round - but coast residents drive the results.

Coasties nominated their favorite poboys. Eat MS Coast took the top 32 restaurants and matched them up in a head-to-head competition. Over the next several weeks, you can vote for your favorite poboy.

The restaurants included span the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast, from Bay St. Louis (Lulu's on Main) to Pascagoula (Scranton's), and everything in between. Every week is a new step in the bracket, so you can make sure to see if your favorite restaurant made it to the next round--and vote to keep it moving forward.

  • First Round – March 21-23
  • Second Round – March 24-26
  • Third Round – March 28-30
  • Semifinal Round – April 1-3
  • Championship Round – April 4-8

Officials say the winner of the big competition will be revealed on April 15, 2016.
