U.S. News & World Report recently ranked popular vacation destinations based on traveler appeal and affordability (measured through average hotel costs during the peak summer season). And, well, no surprise here, 10 out of the 15 spots are beachside (including five in one state!). See how the coastal cities stacked up:
Couples looking for a wallet-conscious coastal escape often head to Biloxi, where you can find a retreat with beach access for a bargain, along with charming cultural sites and eateries. Just be careful not to blow too much at the town’s famous casinos.
