SEABEE DAY 2012!

Seabee Day is a celebration of the U.S. Navy Seabee and the presence of the Navy on the Gulf Coast for more than 70 years! The event features a 5K run, a festive atmosphere, a car, truck and motorcycle show, musical guests, games, fun, food, carnival rides, lots for kids activities, vendors and more! Visitors must enter through the Pass Road Gate! Come out to Seabee Day and see what the "Buzz" is all about!

30th ANNUAL GULFPORT MEMORIAL DAY BLOWOUT

USS MISSISSIPPI COMMISSIONING!

May 28-June 2

The MS Gulf Coast is making history, and you don't want to miss this historic event - the commissioning of the USS Mississippi (SSN 782), the US Navy's newest Virginia Class Submarine!

Construction on the submarine began in February 2007. She is 377 feet long, 34 feet in diameter and billed as the Navy's "next generation" of attack submarines! This is the first nuclear powered vessel commissioned in Gulfport EVER, and the first time a nuclear powered submarine has visited coastal seaports!

The USS Mississippi (SSN 782) will be here to view for 5 days...with the actual commissioning happening June 2! Don't miss this exciting one-in-a-life time event!

6th ANNUAL JULY 4TH COAST WATCHERS CONVOY

Classic military vehicles parade from Bay St. Louis down Highway 90!  The Mississippi Coast Watchers group shows its pride for the United States and its military with a convoy of classic and current vehicles! The group is named after the original military and civilian volunteers who watched the shores along the Coast for enemy ships and planes during WWII! This is a moving patriotic event!  Come out and show your spirit!
