Experience the sights, sounds, and even the smells of the 1861-1865 conflict! There will be cavalry, Infantry and cannon demonstrations, and a battle on each day! The Mississippi Coast Watchers group shows its pride for the United States and its military with a convoy of classic and current vehicles! The group is named after the original military and civilian volunteers who watched the shores along the Coast for enemy ships and planes during WWII! This is a moving patriotic event!  Come out and show your spirit! 

15th ANNUAL VOLKSLAUF MUD RUN

COME JOIN THE LARGEST RUNNING EVENT ON THE COAST! Come out and cheer on over 1,000 of the “muddiest” bunch - maneuvering challenging obstacles and lots of mud! A muddy run for a good cause - Proceeds benefit the annual Seabee Ball! Call for details & to register a team!

2nd ANNUAL HALLOWEEN FOR HEROES’ RIDE

Come RIDE for the GOOD guys!  Ride by motorcycle or car starting from the VFW and proceeding throughout the area!  Start the day off with an awesome breakfast ($6)...and after the ride...party with hamburgers and trimmings, provided by the VFW for all the riders!  "Ghostly" door prizes and raffle as well!  Don't miss this very PATRIOTIC event...come out, show your support and pride for our men & women who served, and & continue to serve our wonderful country!  Proceeds benefit our Veterans in Mississippi VA Homes!  Fleece scarves & Christmas cards for EVERY Veteran in the FOUR Mississippi VA homes during Christmas will be purchased with the money raised!  Come ride for a great cause & make our Veteran's holidays special!  Sponsored by the MS Patriot Guard Rider's HOTH (Help on the Homefront) & VFW Post 3937! 

11th ANNUAL JACKSON COUNTY VETERANS' DAY PARADE & CELEBRATION

A parade to honor, remember and say THANK YOU to all Jackson County veterans who served, continue to serve, and who died for our county! There are approximately 25,000 military veterans living in Jackson County, and we can’t say THANK YOU enough! The parade starts @ Jefferson Avenue & Main Street!  Join us in honoring these fine men & women!

2ND ANNUAL WOUNDED WARRIOR WALK

Come out for our HEROE's...a FUNdraising walk with proceeds benefiting the local Disabled American Veterans. Funds distributed as needed to local injured, seriously ill, and wounded soldiers. Come support this worthy cause!

12th ANNUAL POOR MAN’S YACHT CLUB FISH FRY

For an annual FUN time….come join the “Poor Men” as they fry up a fabulous time for all! The group fries up fish with the trimmings as their yearly FUNdraiser!  If you are looking for a fun event that will satisfy both laughter & your stomach…well..this is the event!
