"GRILLIN' & GREEN" ON THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST!

"Grillin & GREEN" on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is a weekend FILLED with events - parades, festivals, & FUN! St. Patrick's Day Parades offer visitors "throws or prizes" from elaborately decorated floats! The parades include more than 50 units with marchers, antique cars, floats, bagpipes and more! Spectators come from far away to catch the unique "prizes" thrown from the many colorful units - green beads, doubloons, wooden nickels, mini green beer steins, cabbages, potatoes, and even onions (almost everything needed to make an "Irish Stew) are just a few of the delightful "goodies" thrown! The parades have been around for decades & draw thousands of locals & visitors!

"Grillin' on the Green Spring Fling" is a daylong festival featuring a grilling competition, food, 100's of arts & crafts vendors, live entertainment, & children's activities! This event continues to grow in popularity with over 7,000 in attendance. Events held throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast!  **Awarded Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Winter Event 2010!

32nd ANNUAL HIBERNIA MARCHING SOCIETY’S ST. PATRICK’S PARADE & 5K RUN – BILOXI

March 13  

The parade features bands, military units, flag bearers, bagpipers, leprechauns, a horse-drawn carriage with the parade’s Grand Marshal and Colleen, and colorful floats tossing Irish trinkets, green beads and doubloons!  Irish Derby/5K Run held in conjunction with the parade!

Join in on the FUN as Pass Christian returns with their St. Patrick's parade!  Parade route:  Starts @ Lucio's Mexican Restaurant @ 234 Davis Avenue, continues South to Scenic--toast's along the way--turns West on Scenic Drive with more toasting & finishing @ new New City Hall followed with presentations by the Mayor.  Then the party begins - After Parade--- Party at French Charley's on Highway 90!

25th ANNUAL SHENANIGAN’S ST. PATRICKS PARADE - GULFPORT

March 14   

The popular tourist event and local favorite, celebrates the Irish heritage of so many of us on the MS Gulf Coast, as well as the many blessings we enjoy: faith, family and friends! The parade includes more than 50 units, with marchers, antique cars, floats, bag pipes and more! Spectators come from as far away as 100 miles, to catch the unique "prizes" thrown from the many colorful units... wooden nickels, beads, mini green beer steins, cabbages, potatoes and onions! The parade's official mascot is "Mr. Finnigan", and he is joined each year by a Grand Marshal and a Colleen, selected by the Quota Club!
