FROM THE VAULT: SELECTIONS FROM THE PERMANENT COLLECTION

The exhibition highlights the work of arts and crafts potters from the late 19th century to contemporary ceramic artists, as well as traditional Asian ceramics! The show includes a diverse group of artists including Joseph Fortune Meyer, Patrick Crabb, Peter Callas, Matteo Neivert and Kosmas Ballis! Also featured is the museum’s collection of Asian ceramics, which include work by Shoji Hamada (1894-1978), Sumida pottery and a collection of Yixing teapots!

16th ANNUAL FALL-DE-RAH

October 1 – January 6

Fall-de-Rah, Moss Point's unique celebration of Autumn is considered one of the most photographed seasonal attractions! This two-month celebration begins in October and extends through Thanksgiving when it gives way to Christmas Beauty! A stunning display of pumpkins transforms the riverfront into unique scenery! After Thanksgiving, the pumpkins turn into Christmas decorations! Santa and other decorations are magically transformed from stacks of pumpkins! Fall-De-Rah and its Christmas counterpart are the imagination and artistic creativity of the group "Celebrations!"

THE SEA EXPLORERS CLUB @ IMMS

The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS) offers Saturday classes that explore a variety of marine-themed topics and activities. Participants earn a "Passport to Adventure" and certificate for completion of each activity. The Sea Explorers Club is a great way to learn about the marine environment while having a great time!
