The Mississippi Gulf Coast is welcoming the warm weather with lots of outdoor activities in April. The Gulf Coast Yacht & Boat Super Show, Pasagoula River Fest, Coliseum Crawfish Festival, C & R's Crawfish Cookoff, and Smokin' the Sound are just a few of the activities you can enjoy outside. Headliner entertainment includes,STOMP, Glen Miller Orchestra, STYX, George Wallace, Marshall Tucker Band, Thom Kaz, and the Charlie Daniels Band.
Spring Festivals, Parades and More
March is busy with Mardi Gras Parades, St. Patrick's Day events, Gulf Coast Winter Classics, Monster Jam, fishing tournaments, and garden festivals. Headliner entertainment includes Chicago, Eddie Money, Billing Currington's We are Tonight Tour, Clint Black, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Deacon John, Fist Fins VI, The Gala of Royal Horses and Brian Pounds.
The Top of the Hops Beer festival, BBQ Throwdown, Mardi Gras parades, and the Gulf Coast Winter Classics highlight February events. Headliner entertainment includes Merle Haggard, Chrisette Michele, Travis Tritt, Sheena Thomas, Tracy Lawrence/Mark Chestnut, and Thom Kaz.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast will ring in 2014 with celebrations coastwide. Then enjoy the PCA Rodeo, Biloxi Beach Bull Run, Martin Luther King Celebrations, and the Pass Christian Oyster Festival. Visit the Ocean Springs Bridge Mosaic Mural and don't forget about the headliner entertainment at the casinos, Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center, First United Methodist Church - Gulfport, and the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

Headliner entertainment include the Spirit of Christmas, Gordie Brown, Carrot Top, Big & Rich, Ronnie Milsap, HYPNAUGHTY with Thom Kaz, and Stephanie Jordan with Rachel Jordan.
Art, History, and Music
The Peter Anderson Art Festival, Festival of Trees at Beauvoir, Veteran's Day remembrances, and the Sun & Sand Film & Music Festival highlight November events. Headliner entertainment includes Alice Cooper, The Roots & Boots Tour, Rodney Atkins, Dwight Yoakam, Marty Stuart, and Thom Kaz.
Classic Cars, Seafood, and Living History
Cruisin' the Coast's classic cars, Beauvoir's Fall Muster and Ocean Springs' Renaissance Faire give you a glimpse into the past and the Pass Christian Seafood Festival serves up Gulf Fresh seafood. Headliner entertainment includes Trout Fishing in America, Gin Blossoms, Thompson Square, The Return (Beatles Tribute), Marcia Ball, NBA, Rita Rudner, Martina McBride, and Musiq Soulchild.
Festivals highlighted in this issue are the Blues & Heritage, Biloxi Seafood, CPR Fest and the Diamondhead Arts & Crafts Show. Shearwater Pottery is a working art studio founded by Peter Anderson and the Biloxi Fire Museum offers a look at our the history of one of our first responders. Headliner entertainment includes Englebert Humperdinck, Phil Vassar, BJ Thomas, Hank Williams Jr, and Sawyer Brown.
The Captain's Deep Sea Fishing Challenge continues through mid-August, Ocean Springs hosts Art Walk, and several paddle companies celebrate the full moon with night paddle trips. Dolphins and pelicans entertain guests during dinner cruises, and Gulf Islands National Seashore offers a look into barrier island history as well as hiking trails and bird watching opportunities. Headliner entertainment includes Darius Rucker, Kathy Griffin, The Band Perry, Chubby Checker, Montgomery Gentry, and MMA fights.
Fourth of July brings firework displays will be in several cities across the coast. Fishing gets even better with the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, the Croaker Classic and the Captain's Deep Sea Fishing Challenge.The INFINITY Science Center offers a peek into the space and ocean exploration programs and the Biloxi Visitors Center offers a look into Biloxi's storied past. Headliner entertainment includes Funambula, HypNaughty (Thom Kaz), Air Supply, Jo Dee Messina, BB King, Three Dog Night and more.

From experiencing the Wolf River by canoe or kayak, participating in South Coast Summer Fest, playing at the Coliseum Summer Fair, to fishing in tournaments or cooling off with water fun, the Mississippi Gulf Coast has something for your summer wish list. Headline entertainment includes live boxing, Ron White, Cindy Lauper, Drew Carey, and John Edward, physic medium.
May is a great month to begin exploring the outdoors again as the temperatures warm up. Swamp tours, music festivals, outdoor food festivals, and blessings provide the perfect excuse to get outside and enjoy nature.
