Beach Information

Find everything you need to know about our beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches here. Then grab your sunscreen, beach chair and towel and head to the shoreline for a day in the sun.

Twenty-six miles of soft white sand include several pullovers with beach access, photo opportunities and water adventures. And no two towns are alike. Visit Pass Christian and Long Beach for quieter, tranquil stretches of beach for sunbathing, romantic walking or moonlight picnicking.

Need a shower or some fresh H20? Stop by the comfort stations located at Long Beach Harbor, Jones Park, Courthouse Road, the Coliseum and Rodenberg Avenue. Those areas also serve as bus stops for the Coast Area Transit Authority.

And be sure to ferry on over to Ship Island, part of Gulf Islands National Seashore. We think it’s one of the best beaches in the US – and Mississippi Magazine and USA Today agree. Food service, chair and umbrella rentals are available upon arrival.
