Planners and attendees alike will appreciate the flexibility of the Coliseum's layout, which can be arranged as one spacious banquet hall or configured into as many as 32 separate meeting rooms. If more space is required, resort hotels provide an additional 140,000 square feet within close proximity. To help ensure your event is conducted without incident, the venue maintains a list of preferred audio/visual, display, exhibit, floral, and other vendors who are considered the best in their respective field.
Proposals for a feasibility study on the expansion of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center are currently being evaluated. Coast leaders intend for the study to help match room inventory with available meeting and convention space.
Planners can take advantage of the Mississippi Gulf Coast CVB's outstanding service and "one-stop shopping" approach to planning, promoting, and managing meetings in the area. Acting as a liaison between meeting planners and marketing partners, the CVB's full range of services includes assisting with site and accommodation selection, event promotion, special event and theme party planning, as well as on-site registration services. After the event is planned, the CVB staff can even assist with accommodations and transportation needs and provide complimentary registration assistants, name tags, and equipment.
Mississippi's Gulf Coast offers an exciting array of attractions, including 26 miles of white sand beaches, 12 fun-filled resort casinos, 22 championship golf courses, 237 restaurants, and 42 cultural attractions, sure to entertain visitors and promote elevated event attendance records.
