Our approach to services focuses directly on you, the customer. We will help you plan every aspect of your event from your most comprehensive service requirements to the simplest individual request.

Site inspection itineraries with hotels & service providers

After you have made your initial selection of location and facilities, we’re happy to continue to be your liaison with the community to select special event sites, off-site venues, coordinate transportation needs, and anything else you may need.

Attendance builder brochures and shell brochures

Increase your attendance by using our materials to show attendees just what the area has to offer.

On-site convention registration personnel

Our experienced staff is professional, dependable, and offers quality performance. We offer expertise in the following areas: badge checkers, typists, registration & directional clerks, collateral material stuffers, visitor information specialists, greeters, host/hostesses, room/session monitors, show office assistants, and ticket takers.

Customized name badges

Provide your delegates, speakers, vendors, and participants with customized computer generated name badges. The Bureau also provides complimentary badge holders. Laptop computers and printers are available for generating on-site name badges.

Providing attendees with visitor information and promotional items

We offer a variety of printed materials on the area including our Visitors Guide, brochures on individual attractions, and tear-sheet maps of the entire coastal area. We also can provide delegates with promotional items to enhance their visit.

Guidance for spouse/youth programs, entertainment & special events

We’re your connection to Destination Management Companies, Receptive Tour Operators, local service suppliers, or just simply suggesting ideas on “what”, “where”, and “how.”

Providing power point, videos, and logos for attendance promotion efforts

We have logo slicks or can provide images via e-mail. Our destination overview video is a five-minute video that shows the exciting array of activities and things to see and do on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. Images are also available on CDRom.

Public relations/media

Our Communications Department will work with you to provide up-to-date news about Mississippi’s Gulf Coast to help enhance your promotional efforts; supply media contact lists; assist you in planning press conferences; provide guidelines and assist with writing press releases; provide news releases for your publications; and provide seasonal or annual calendar of events. Our staff is always ready and willing to assist in publicizing your conference.

The Convention Services Department wants to help throughout all phases of your convention from the earliest planning to the departure of the last delegate. Service extends beyond the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau to the entire destination.
