South Bethel Trails

South Bethel Trails is a 19 mile long trail that provides differing levels of challenge for the mountain bike rider. Seventeen miles of trail have been designated to motorcycle riders. No water available; vault toilet at mountain bike trailhead only. Note: All National Forest Campgrounds do not allow alcohol.

Directions: Take Highway 49 to Highway 67; turn east on Bethel Road; follow Bethel to four-way stop; continue east for approximately 6.5 miles; turn south on FS Road 426 and go 2.75 miles; trail head is on the right. Or, from I-10, exit north on I-110; turn north on Hwy 15; travel 12 miles to FS Road 426; turn west and go about one mile; trailhead is on the left.
