Join OOMA for a morning in the studio with visiting artist John Oles. In conjunction with OOMA’s Jagged Fragments: Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture exhibition, we are pleased to have John back in our studio working his magic in porcelain. It’s a great opportunity to sit back and watch a master potter, ask questions, and make some new clay friends! John Oles currently serves as Professor of Ceramics at Jacksonville State University in Gadsen, Alabama. He formerly held teaching positions at Delgado, Tulane University, and Loyola University. John holds an MFA in Ceramics from Tulane and a BFA in Ceramics from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
