Overview

Crooked Feather , a thirty-foot sculpture originally built in 1976 by Peter Wolf Toth, portrays the face and neck of an Indian man with a feather sticking out of his headband. Toth is a Hungarian sculptor who created a series of sculptures throughout the U.S. and Canada called the Trail of the Whispering Giants, which honors Native Americans. The current sculpture is a replica carved by Thomas King, a local sculpture in 1999.
