Overview

Camp Wilkes is located on an 89-acre site on the north shore of the Bay of Biloxi and the perfect venue for any family reunion or gathering. The Main Camp area consists of 10 of the 89 acres, has 32 buildings, and is adjacent to the shoreline. The other 79 acres offers trails, primitive campsites and is heavily wooded, making Camp Wilkes a great place to relax, enjoy and spend time with your group. The complex offers two buildings, Hiller Hall, which seats 200 and comes with a complete kitchen & dining facility, and Hart Hall has a kitchenette and is available for smaller groups. For recreation there is a 200-foot pier with boat access, covered pavilion, handrails, lights, electricity, water, a swimming pool, a BB gun, & archery range, along with five other covered pavilions throughout the main camp area.

For an even larger group, there is an outdoor amphitheater with theatrical lighting, which faces the bay and seats up to 1000. Eleven cabins of various sizes sleeping from 16 to 40 persons in open bays on double bunk beds surround the amphitheater. Cabins have both unattached or indoor bathroom and shower facilities. Two of the cabins are equipped with small kitchens (refrigerator, stove, and small preparation area) for smaller groups not needing the large mess hall. All buildings and pavilions are equipped with lights for night activities.

Finally, for safety, the First Aid Hut is a three-room facility used to house a small medical station.
