Thousands of classic cars converge on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for an entire week of rock 'n' roll, drag races, sock hops, swap meets, headline entertainment, and FUN...all along the Gulf Coast! Car enthusiasts parade their antique, classic, hot rods & custom vehicles up & down Highway 90 with entertainment provided at designated stops in Biloxi, D'Iberville, Gulfport, Long Beach, Bay St. Louis, Ocean Springs & Pascagoula. Since its inception in 1996, Cruisin' the Coast has grown from 374 cars to over 4,000 annually!

5th ANNUAL TRAIL OF TERROR

October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

This is a 5 acre haunted trail with 11 scare stations that include menacing skits! People in costume and makeup will be scattered along the trail! A minimum of 70 people are staffing the ghoulish event and security is provided! No alcohol allowed on premises! Proceeds benefit East Central Boys Soccer!  Because of the events intensity – this may not be suitable for very young children!

Directions to Location:
From the I-10 corridor: Take exit 69 and go north on Hwy 63 for 17 miles. Turn right onto Polktown Rd (look for ToT signs) and go for 3 miles. (Polktown Rd is about 3 miles north of the Hwy 63/614 intersection: Wade Baptist Church, H&H Chevron, BP Station), Turn left onto the gravel road Payne Rd (look for ToT signs)

From Mobile, AL: Take Airport Blvd into MS where it becomes Hwy 614 west for 10 miles. Turn right at the Hwy614/614 intersection (look for ToT signs) onto Hwy 613 north and go for 5 miles. Turn left onto Davis Sawmill Rd (look for ToT signs) and go for 2 miles to the dead-end. Turn right on Polktown Rd (look for signs) for 200 yards, Turn left on the gravel road Payne Rd (look for ToT signs)

From Lucedale: Take Hwy 63 south to Polktown Rd (look for ToT signs). Turn left onto Polktown Rd and go for 3 miles, (Polktown Rd is about 5 miles south of the George/Jackson County line and about 3 miles north of the Hwy 63/614 intersection) - Turn left onto the gravel road Payne Rd (follow the signs!)

The Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge offers something for everyone...but especially for children - The Junior Refuge Manager Program for 8-12 yr olds, but can be fun for younger or older kids as well! Bring the family, stop by the visitor center and pick up the activity booklet, then walk the trails with your family, do some trail research with them so they become a Junior Refuge Manager! Plan on spending a little time walking the C.L. Dees trail (3/4 mile loop), where refuge staff or volunteers teach about how to use a fire weather kit, offer information on the park and more. Bring plenty of water!  After your walk, participants can choose a prize: water bottles, key chains, backpacks and now, the official Junior Refuge Manager patch! Don't miss this exciting opportunity to spend time outdoors with the family!
