Former left handed-hitter and outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds (1969 - 72), St. Louis Cardinals (1972-73), Boston Red Sox (1974-76 and 1977-78), Milwaukee Brewers (1976), Cleveland Indians (1978) and Pittsburgh Pirates (1980). First player drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the MLB's first amateur free-agent draft in June 1965 at only 17 years old. Often remembered for his three-run pinch-hit homerun in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series; in 2004, he was inducted into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame.
