Harrison County Tourism Commission Opposes Close-In Offshore Drilling
The Harrison County Tourism Commission, which oversees the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau, has adopted a resolution opposing offshore exploration, drilling and development of oil, gas, minerals, and other hydrocarbons adjacent to the Gulf Islands National Seashore, including any areas between the islands and the coastline.

Walter Inglis Anderson: Everything I See Is New and Strange, which debuted at the Smithsonian Institution’s Arts and Industries Building on September 25, 2003, and which was on view to critical and public acclaim until January 11, 2004 to an audience of more than 300,000 people will return to its place of origin in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where it will be presented until September 18, 2005.

AMERICAN EAGLE ADDS SERVICE BETWEEN GULFPORT-BILOXI AND DALLAS/FORT WORTH
American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop service between Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport beginning October 30. American Eagle will operate two daily round-trip flights between the two cities using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.
