BAY ST. LOUIS, MS - December 17, 2014 - Hancock County Tourism Development Bureau (HCTDB) announced today that Bay St. Louis will be featured as "Best Pleasure Seekers Paradise" in the Official Best of Mississippi 2014 travel feature. The Bay St. Louis segment is narrated by Bay St. Louis author and editor Ellis Anderson.
The half-hour television program will air Saturday, December 20 at 12:30 p.m. in New Orleans on WNOL-TV, and in Jackson on WLBT-TV at noon. It will air nationally on The Discovery Channel on Christmas Day at 5 a.m. The video will also be promoted and available on the website www.OfficialBestOf.com starting 7-10 days later. The video will remain on the site for three years.
Bay St. Louis was one of only twelve Mississippi locations to be selected for the Official Best Of feature.
Nominees underwent a rigorous selection process, which included research of online travel resources to determine the selections. Extensive research was conducted, and numerous independent positive reviews were required for inclusion by www.OfficialBestOf.com.
