If nature is your main attraction, the Gulf Coast has you covered from Shepard State Park, nestled in the heart of Singing River (Pascagoula River) country, to McLeod Water Park, Handcock County's 328-acre camping and recreational park offering RV and primitive camping, picnicking , fishing, boating and hiking. For botanists at heart, there is the Crosby Arboretum, a plant museum dedicated to preserving, protecting and displaying plants native to the Pearl River Drainage Basin of Mississippi and Louisiana.
